Khan Continental Hotel & Restaurant is looking for a skilled and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring an excellent dining experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure food presentation meets restaurant standards
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control
- Assist in menu planning and introducing new dishes
- Manage kitchen inventory and report stock requirements
- Follow food safety and sanitation regulations
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth daily operations
- Minimize food wastage and control kitchen costs
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef or Cook
- Experience in hotel or restaurant kitchen preferred
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
- Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Creative, disciplined, and team-oriented personality
- Good time management and communication skills
