Khan Continental Hotel & Restaurant is looking for a responsible and organized Kitchen Store Keeper to manage kitchen inventory and ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining stock levels of food items, beverages, and kitchen supplies while keeping accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive daily deliveries and verify quantity and quality of stock items
- Store food items and supplies properly according to hygiene standards
- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs or software
- Issue kitchen items to chefs and staff on time
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages promptly
- Check expiry dates and control wastage or damaged items
- Coordinate with suppliers for deliveries and stock updates
- Keep the kitchen store clean, organized, and properly arranged
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) stock system
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as Store Keeper or similar role
- Experience in hotel, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel or inventory software)
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills
- Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented personality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic communication skills
